Required Skills for Advanced Musical Acoustics (MPATE-GE 2036)

Before you take this course, you must be able to:

Create models that predict fundamental experiences and mechanics of sound
Design, conduct and document scientific experiments that identify significant correlations between sound experiences and mechanics

These skills are acquired in MPATE-UE 1035, using information presented in David M. Howard & James Angus, Acoustics and Psychoacoustics; it is the first part of a series that concludes with this course.
